2. If using a gas stove or BBQ, wash eggplant, dry, and put directly onto flame or grill. Cook while turning for <timer>, until eggplant is blackened and completely soft.
3. If you don’t have a gas stove or grill, preheat oven to 425°F. Then wash eggplant and dry, put onto baking sheet and roast for <timer>, until completely soft.
